Prenatal Massage

The student will learn the basic techniques of providing a safe prenatal massage for expectant mothers who have a healthy low risk pregnancy. They will learn to differentiate between a healthy pregnancy and a high risk pregnancy. Proper screening for precautions and contraindications will be covered. This class will also cover the physical changes that occur within the nine-month gestational period for fetus and mother.

Reflexology for the Massage Therapist

The student will learn the techniques of providing a foot reflexology session. Proper screening for precautions and contraindications will be covered. This class will teach the student anatomy, physiology, contraindications, sanitation, SOAP notes, professional business/ethical standards and HIPPA guidelines. Upon completion, a written and practical exam will be given at the end of class. Must be a current Licensed Massage Therapist.

Reflexology Level I, Level II, Level III Certification

This class is for the beginner or the professional wanting to learn reflexology. The student will learn the techniques, anatomy, physiology, contradictions, self-care, working with professionals and business guidelines. A written exam and practicum will be given at the end of Levels II and III.
